Welcome to our new gameroom. This is what happens when you turn the master bedroom into your game room. Here we have the backwall, with the gaming setup, futon at the bottom and crap everywhere. The TV is a 24" Toshiba. Component ins, but no HD... yet.

The front wall. We removed both sets of closet doors and lined the them with system and accessory boxes. Also note the assload of gaming shirts and the display case.

The library wall. Complete NES, complete boxed Genesis, SNES, N64, and SMS. That’s all we could fit here!

This is what the room looks like with the door closed. Accessories on the door, a bookcase as a catch all for random systems, the display case again.

The window wall. PS2, Sega CD, Saturn, Game Gear, the book case, etc etc.

What to do with the ceiling? Paste it with posters!

It’s hard to see, but we made a semi-ring around the room with Nintendo wall clings of Mario, Samus, Wario, and Kirby, and the NES classic ones.

Genius idea by Achika. Great for displaying collections, mostly hers. Including her FFXI plushies, Space Channel 5 shrine, game soundtracks, strategy guides, shirts and hats.

Here’s the NES collection. Every US game, without exception, is featured here. I need about 300 more boxes and less than 100 manuals.

N64 and SMS games. Interesting thing about the game room. This set of shelves were not planned. Originally the entertainment center to the right of it was going to be here, and we’d have an open air entertainment center to get a bigger TV. When NES and Genesis took up that entire wall, we had to expand. This is why the TV is only 24".

This is one of my favorite ideas - buy shoe racks, put the accessories in them. Covers everything hooked up to the gaming setup.
